Okay then, so what's Seraphim Call?
Seraphim Call is best known as a 12-episode anime series with a bit of a different touch. The first 11 episodes look at 11 different girls; each is in the spotlight for one episode. The final episode brings them all together. Each episode also has a different ending theme, which is definitely an interesting addition. It aired in Japan in 1999. It's been described as "dull" but the nature of the episodes means that you don't have to watch them all in order. In any case, the music is amazing and the character designs are beyond spiffy.
